Namaste! Hello!
About Me
From Fashion to UX design, I weave creativity and strategy with a deep passion for human connections, currently pursuing an MBA in Design Strategy at California College of the Arts.
I believe below are my strengths I bring to the table:
As a Design Strategy MBA (DMBA) student at California College of the Arts, I am honing my ability to merge design thinking with strategic business insights. This education, combined with over seven years of professional experience, has equipped me with the skills to craft user-centered solutions and drive impactful design decisions. I am excited to apply my skills and experiences to creating innovative and meaningful user experiences in a forward-thinking organization.
I recently completed the Google UX Design certification on Coursera, where I honed my skills as a UX Designer and developed a portfolio project. In my professional journey, I have built a strong foundation in UX research, user persona development, and journey mapping. During my DMBA program, I collaborated on a financial literacy project, conducting empathy interviews, synthesizing insights, and creating a prototype that addressed the unique challenges faced by young adults and immigrants. This experience strengthened my ability to identify user pain points, extract actionable insights, and design engaging solutions that meet both user needs and organizational goals.
My professional background includes working on diverse projects that blend research, design, and user engagement. At Big Bazaar, I conducted market research and studied the brand's color palette to craft a cohesive visual identity for a new product launch. I also developed user-centric styling approaches to target the brand's audience effectively. Similarly, during my internship at Zoom TV Entertainment, I worked as an assistant stylist, where I collaborated on defining the brand’s color palette and styling actors for various shows. My role involved conducting market research to align styling decisions with both market trends and the personalities of the actors, ensuring a strong connection with the target audience.
I bring a comprehensive set of skills, including expertise in Figma, wireframing, prototyping, and visual interface design, along with proficiency in UX research and strategy. My understanding of design thinking and user experience is complemented by strengths in communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and time management, all of which contribute to creating engaging user experiences and driving satisfaction.
I am eager to contribute my skills to innovative projects while expanding my knowledge and growing within a dynamic environment.
